The stages of a household move, in order
Each stage below is a discrete service. Some clients use all of them, others only need transport and storage. We move belongings; we do not process visas, work permits or residency paperwork, which remain the responsibility of the client or relevant authorities.

Packing with a written inventory list
Furniture, boxes and fragile items are packed using materials suited to road transport. As items go into boxes, they are recorded on an inventory list that stays with the shipment. This list is used later for customs declarations, warehouse handling and, where relevant, insurance assessment.

Preparing paperwork for non-EU shipments
When a household move involves a country outside the EU, additional customs declarations are usually required. Based on the inventory list, we assemble the documentation typically requested at clearance points, so the shipment arrives with the paperwork already organised rather than assembled under time pressure.
This service covers the goods being transported. It does not extend to visas, work permits or residency applications, which are handled separately by the client through the relevant immigration authority.

Road transport from any European country
Collection happens at the origin address, wherever it is in Europe, and delivery happens at the destination address in Romania or beyond. The route, loading order and estimated timing are discussed before departure so there are no surprises about where the truck stops in between.

Climate-controlled storage near Bucharest
Not every move lines up neatly between move-out and move-in dates. When belongings need to wait, they are held in a climate-controlled warehouse near Bucharest, with temperature and humidity kept within a stable range for wood furniture, electronics and textiles.

Assembly at the destination
Wardrobes, bed frames and modular furniture are reassembled on site once delivered, following the same reference notes made when the pieces were disassembled or packed. The goal is that the destination looks like a home again, not a room full of flat-packed parts.
Insurance coverage for transit damage
Coverage for damage that occurs while items are in transit is arranged alongside the move itself, using the inventory list as the basis for declared value. Details of coverage terms and any exclusions are provided in writing before the move so the scope is clear from the start.
How a household move unfolds
Every move follows roughly the same sequence, adjusted for distance, customs status and whether storage is needed in between.
Initial assessment
We review the origin and destination countries, approximate volume of belongings and whether customs declarations apply to the route.
Packing day
Items are packed and logged on the inventory list at the origin address, on a date agreed in advance with the client.
Documentation & loading
Where the route crosses a non-EU border, customs paperwork is finalised before the shipment is loaded for the road journey.
Transport or storage
The shipment travels directly to the destination, or is held temporarily in the climate-controlled warehouse near Bucharest if timing requires it.
Delivery & assembly
Boxes are unloaded at the destination address and furniture is reassembled, matched against the original inventory list.
