Settling-in services at the destination
Delivery is not always the last step. Furniture needs assembling, boxes need placing in the right rooms, and sometimes the new home is not quite ready when the shipment arrives. This page covers what we do once the truck reaches its destination address in Romania or elsewhere.
Furniture reassembly, room by room
Wardrobes, bed frames, shelving and modular units that were disassembled for transport are put back together on site. Assembly follows the notes and labelling made during the original packing stage, so pieces go into the room they were assigned to on the inventory list.
When the new home is not ready yet
If a lease starts a few weeks after the shipment arrives, or renovation work is still underway, belongings can remain in the climate-controlled warehouse near Bucharest for an agreed extra period. Delivery is then rescheduled once the destination address is ready to receive the goods.

Unpacking assistance
On request, boxes are opened and their contents placed in cupboards or shelves according to the room labels used during packing.
Inventory reconciliation
The delivered items are checked against the original inventory list, and any discrepancy is noted in writing before the crew leaves.
Packaging removal
Cardboard, bubble wrap and other packing materials can be collected and removed once boxes are unpacked, on request.
Flexible scheduling
Assembly and unpacking can be scheduled for the delivery day itself or for a separate visit, depending on how the destination address is set up.
What this service does not cover
We handle
Packing, inventory, customs paperwork for the goods, road transport, storage, furniture assembly and unpacking of belongings.
We do not handle
Visa applications, work or residence permits, registration with local authorities, or any immigration-related paperwork. These matters are the responsibility of the client and the relevant government authority.
